Baldeggersee

In the morning I went to look for some new ski touring boots, to go with the skis I bought this week. It was very difficult, I have wide calf muscles and a high instep, and most of the boots seem to be more Italian design for ladies with very slim legs and feet! Anyway, I think I've found a pair, second hand that I can first rent, then buy if they are ok.
In the afternoon, I took the train along Halwillersee to Hitzkirch, on Baldeggersee, then walked along the lake to Klosterli Baldegg. There was a beautiful view to the Alps the whole way, and the lake was calm, quiet, and full of bird life. All in all, a lovely walk, got the train home, then the rain and wind arrived.
