Lauriston Castle

Having aborted plans for a walk yesterday we concluded our business at the Gyle shopping Centre (yes, having my glasses repaired again) and went to visit Lauriston Castle.
With the sun shining brightly, we wandered as far as the northern edge of the estate, with views of the Forth and Cramond Island, through the Japanese Garden and back to the car as the wind began to pick up.
Later in the day it seemed that storm Jorge had arrived, bringing with it a flurry of large snowflakes, but these quickly abated.

Oh, and the blip? That's the delightful toilet block, reflected in a large puddle.
