AND THERE'S THE MOON!

I wanted to say "Thank you" to all those who expressed sympathy yesterday. The only place it really hurts is the pride - which comes before a fall - followed by much foul language.

A young Muslim fellow came & hoiked me upright & showed me the damage on his smartphone. I tottered off to the Delhaize where the checkout girl obviously thought I was terminally drunk - I left her to her smugness with a wicked smile inside.

And this evening there was this wee sliver of a moon in this unfamiliar clear sky...
