you said we were going to the beach..

Today's plan was to try to race Storm Jorge to Arran. D and I made it, but our ferry was the last sailing of the day. Sarah and Luke were not so lucky and have had to make other plans. They are enjoying each other's company in Edinburgh and hopefully will join us some time tomorrow.

Jess always likes going on a ferry as there is usually a beach to be found somewhere near the destination. The tide is so high on Arran today, however,  that the sea is right up to the road, not a beach in sight anywhere.
