Diary of an Edinburgher

Gym - Day One!

Well, it's happened. I've finally re-joined the gym. And I didn’t have to pay a joining fee! (They had a special offer on today.)

I did a few things in the weights room, then I did five minutes on the cross trainer. 5 minutes! At Level 1!! I was puggled. I did do another 5 minutes after a wee break. I'm sure I’ll improve on that. *ahem*

Mary, our wee pal who goes to the gym, was there (Fridays and Mondays) so she came for a cuppa and a chat afterwards.

I did quite a few of my exercises at home, but mainly I watched the Women's Cricket - England vs Pakistan. It was great. JR took Archie round to the Links in the rain. Then he had a bath. I watched cricket.

Then Dave the plumber came to check our thermostat in the shower - the water just isn’t hot enough. He put a new one in, but wants us to check up on the boiler.

More worrying news about Coronavirus... I see Scotland is red on the world map coverage, but there haven't been any reported cases. Not yet...

These tulips are on their last legs. The vase was my mum's.
