Brightening up.

It wasn’t very pleasant first thing, but we trusted the forecast and set off for the Lee Valley. By the time we got there, after a hearty breakfast and an hour’s train journey, it had indeed brightened up and we had a lovely walk. Although a local birder assured us there was nothing special, I managed to record 35 species including Red Kites and Little Egrets for our year list.
See extras for a landscape view of the reserve we visited. The main image was my favourite - a female Reed Bunting.
