Jewel box

A 17th century jewel box that used to belong to Catherina the Great. My brother and I visited the exhibition Jewels in the Dutch Hermitage Museum. A lovely exhibition. The biggest room in the exhibition held 6 or 7 glass cabins. In each cabin two evening gowns were on display, along with matching jewelry and other accessories. I'll upload some extras to show that.
It is on show until May. I might go back for another look.
