Fenland Travels - Day 1
Sir John Betjeman, St Pancras Station, London
4 degrees but sunny when I left home this morning. Sunny and 6 degrees with a cold wind when I arrived in Ely this afternoon.
Car to local station + train to Bath + train to London Paddington + Underground across London to Kings Cross (with a quick visit next door to St Pancras) + train to Ely + waiting for M to finish work + car to M’s village = 6 hours
In extras, Ely Cathedral glowing in the late afternoon sun, and sunset over The Fens.
