Ski friendly

We travelled through the night and arrived in Feldberg, on the slopes at about 9.30am.

The snow isn’t good today and half the ski lifts are closed because of either the strong winds or the patchy snow.

So today was really all about getting on with our skis again. My skis and boots feel great and we skied gently, although stupidly we started on red runs, and since visibility was a bit limited, it was a little risky.

I think that we are all hoping for some bad weather which seems a strange thing to say. But we need some fresh snow.

We have evening talks on this organised trip. And we had a great start. I could listen to this man for hours. And singing together was fun. Our ski hut is warm and does great food. A fabulous start.
