Good Neighbours

I felt so proud of my class, and indeed the entire school community today. For the Year Four Good Neighbour event, I organised a food drive. The local Catholic church has a social action centre that operates a soup kitchen three days a week. Tomorrow, we are going to deliver the food we collected today and they will give it to members of the homeless community in Kobe. I am going to enquire about the possibility of our class joining the soup kitchen to help share the food. I think this would be an extremely valuable learning opportunity.
