Ginger Spice

I’ve just eaten the last piece of Grasmere Gingerbread. As far as I know, there’s nothing else like it in the world (and I’ve tried several recipes trying to create my own).
If you’re ever in the Lake District I’d recommend a visit to Sarah Nelson’s gingerbread shop where you can buy some and try it for yourself.
My first day back at work was a bit of a shock. The children are all super excited and energetic which I’m definitely not.
