Drove home this afternoon in slushy wet sleet, thinking the worst of the bad weather was behind us. Little did I know that another band of snowy weather was sneaking over the hills to cover us in a layer of white frosting(!)

This is the back garden - we sat down to eat dinner with rain falling on bare ground, and when I got up to do the washing up, found the garden under a blanket of white. You never can tell with this weather. Suppose I'd better email my boss...!
