This is the scene from the living room window.  However most folk online were complaining of cold and rain - LOTS of rain.  I know it was on both sides of the Pennines and as far south as Ripon. But beyond that "Here be Dragons".
It was well over 90% gone by 16:00 though. Waste of time really?
