"Jings, crivens, help ma Boab!"

I know it's the wrong comic to go with the title.

Was packing up the books I'm not taking with me and came across this book which I hadn't read.
It has 144 pages packed with information, pictures and a variety of memorabilia from Maw's memory box.
On the inside sleeve it states that it is a school project for Horace Broon one of the children of the family.
By the amount of work Horace put into it he must have started in primary school and carried on until sixth year of secondary!
The meagre comment from the teacher was;

Very well done Horace! You have clearly done your homework-you have carried out your research well and created a project to be proud of.

Never even signed it!

"Jings, crivens, help ma Boab,"surely the boy deserves a literary prize for this?
