Life from city to village

City

The day started peaceful enough. I slept in after getting back at 2:30 is. We had been to see the midnight showing of The Lighthouse - incredible film and astonishingly strong performances by both William Defoe and Robert Pattinson.
So it was a lazy morning. I finished doing the washing, did a bit of cooking and cleaning. My son got up around 1pm, after I had made Scotch pancakes. He wanted to go out, but most places were shut by then, so we ended up going into the city at around 4:30pm. By then it was bitterly cold, with the wind well and truly up again. We ended up going for a Thai buffet meal before home again.
