Jay stalker

Spotted this jay which had also seen me. He jumped from tree to tree until he thought he was a safe distance, then turned to watch me.

I managed this photo before a woman walking her dog came over and asked what I was taking a picture of, as if I were pointing it through her bedroom window! By the time she had taken on board that people do take photos of birds, the jay had flown away.

In other news, some snow has started to melt, but our snowman is still standing in the garden, minus a carrot-nose, which the rabbit stole and ate.
