Vancouver

This is a beautiful city being near water and surrounded by snow tipped mountains. We had a very long Thursday 20 February- leaving Queenstown at 3.30pm and arriving in Vancouver at midday on 20th February. I couldn’t Blip last night as I’d already posted one that day.
International date lines are interesting.
Yesterday included a trip to the Art Gallery (1st extra); Gastown (2nd extra is from The Landing in Gastown).
Today we walked to Stanley Park and enjoyed walking for kilometres on its Seawall and tracks, and also spent quite a bit of time at its Aquarium. The main photo is of some Jellyfish- they had so many different types on display and so many other kinds of fish , birds and even sloths!
A really enjoyable day playing “tourists” and remembering to walk on the right hand side of the footpaths; turning light switches up; and ordering double shot espresso coffee with hot water on the side,
It’s fun.
