Northmavine UHA 2020

A day of gales, heavy showers, wintery at times, and some sunny spells.  More heavy showers tonight.

I've been working on the museum desk again today.  A quiet start to the day, but the frustrated parents started arriving throughout the day.   Headed north after tea, to another Up Helly Aa.  I managed a good walk with Sammy tonight, and stayed dry.  Now a quiet evening at home. 

The Up Helly Aa season continues, and even with a poor day, the celebrations and parties will not stop.  It stayed dry during the procession, a d the galley burned on the sea.  Another Jarl Squad of hairy Vikings, and a long night ahead for them, and others.  I met two first cousins, Leona on dad's side, and Martin on mam's side.  They both had a spare place in their squads, a d wanted me to come party, wish I could have, maybe next year :) Taken at Swarthoul, Urafirth.
