It was another frosty morning in Leytonstone today. At the High Road Overground station, this rendered the transparent plastic protector for the map unhelpfully opaque.
Fortunately, some earlier passengers had scraped away the frost, but only in a couple of places. One, unsurprisingly, was in the vicinity of Leytonstone, but the other was on the opposite side of London around Shepherd's Bush. Whether that's because a lot of Leytonstone folk work for the BBC, or because it's the other place on the network where the Central Line meets the Overground and someone accidentally cleared the wrong patch, I don't know.
