Apparently when you text your porting authorisation code should "ping" back

two hours later I went on line pressed the give me my PAC button and got 6 text messages in response

Still the code has now been entered but I went over the 17:00 time limit for next day switching of providers but keeping the number

so despite the blip of Kassie saying goodbye to the old phone it survives until Monday.....
