Smokey 1702 hr (Thursday 20th February 2020)

Another day of fierce showers. I was indoors anyway, with Smokey on top of the study TV monitor (see Extra for what was going to be my blip until I took the one above), catching up after yesterday.

As you can see I am back online. When the engineer said he had only added one cable, he omitted to mention that, finding no spare socket, he had done this by removing both ends of an ethernet cable previously connecting the router to a 4-way switching unit, thus cutting off every internet device in the house apart from his. Once I found the detached cable among a jumble of wires, normality was quickly resumed, thank goodness. Black mark to the electrician.
