Nil by Mouth

What do you do with Cadbury’s Creme Eggs if you don’t eat them? Why, you put them into baby chicks. Where do you get chicks willing to have an Easter egg shoved up their behinds? Why, you knit them of course.
I consider it to be a bit of down grading from knitting Fair Isle hats to knitting chickens, but it’s all in a good cause.

I met up with Magpie and her shoulder sling this morning and my word how the social gossip was discussed. It was all revelations to her but I had it from the highest authority. She was truly amazed.

One of the baristas was crocheting a beautiful chalk bag for a climbing friend. I was smitten with it And agreed to barter a crocheted bag for a FairIsle bunnet for her wee boy. I would of course love to make one myself, but not being very proficient in crocheting, I’m looking for a pattern for one in cotton (not wool). If there is any one of the Blipfoto community able to help, I would be so grateful.
