Here we go again...

.... off to Norway this time and, hopefully, the Northern Lights. Our excuse.... to visit Andréa’s country! Not sure we need an excuse though.

We’re leaving a day later than scheduled due to our ship being delayed getting back to the home port, this time Tilbury. A good journey here this morning and even though there were lots of us at embarkation, we got through speedily. The health check was a simple form to fill in.

We’ve got an inside cabin this time but it’s lovely and even has a separate pull down bunk bed should we need it! We’ve had lunch and are waiting for our lifeboat training and evacuation procedure.

I’m sure we have far too much luggage but who knows what awaits us! And of course there are the formal evenings to dress for ( optional, but it will make a change from thermals, jeans and walking boots.)
