Swollen river

A rare flood warning was issued for the River Glen.  I decided to make today's walk along its bank.  The river was full but at no point had it topped its banks. The walk was against a strong wing but I had the wind on my back on the homeward leg. Before going out I made four tubs of broccoli and Stilton soup which should keep me going for a while.
