Disappearing

Evening drive. Passed a kangaroo standing alone by a dam. He watched me as intently as I watched him. Then he turned and jumped away. I took several good face-on shots but I like this view where his legs are all off the ground. He headed up the paddock along the fenceline & disappeared from view. Knowing that there were roos in the paddock on the other side of the road,I waited for him to emerge from the trees further up and leap across the road to join them, before I got back in my car. Sure enough, he did. Crossing kangaroos are a hazard in these parts.
