Inflatable Bike

I made a rare trip to the city today to attend a farewell for a colleague. You couldn't miss this huge inflatable bicycle dominating Victoria Square - a signaller of the big Tour Down Under cycling event going on around Adelaide at the moment. I'm not a cycling fan personally but it does add excitement to the landscape and encourage vigilance on the roads. There have been lots of local cyclists out in force , which can offer surprises along my driving routes, keeping me on my toes..(I'm driving around a 100km a day lately). I was driving up the windy road out of Willunga the other day-? before the Tour started - a journey not taken lightly as I am nervous on roads with sheer drops at the side , and I had to slow almost to stopping on a nasty bend at one point as I couldn't pass the local cyclist who was toiling up it. A few heart-stopping seconds for me before getting past and onto safer ground. Fear of heights is a terrible thing!
