'Baby Groweths'...

...is what my Mum used to call seedlings when they came up. It always makes me think of her when I see the first spindly shoots. She had green fingers and loved her garden. 
We used to laugh because my Dad used to say proudly 'Look what we've grown.' showing visitors the veg patch when it was my Mum who did all the digging and planting.
My 'baby groweths' - if you can see them - are onions. 
Today my windowsill propagator arrived so I can sow some more seeds :-)
