Growing upwards

This tiny houseplant, a common houseleek, has a sudden growth spurt right in the middle, a sprig looking up? The festive bokeh circles behind it are raindrops on the window, we're having three seasons in a day weather today. For Mono Monday with its theme of 'looking up', with thanks to 60plus for hosting.

Initially for today's theme I was thinking of capturing the annual dressing up of the highest church tower in Bergen op Zoom, giving it its face and carnival clothes for the festivities of this coming long weekend, but the wind is still blowing too hard for that. I was bringing son no 2 to town to the dental surgeon to have two wisdom teeth removed (poor guy!) and there is much to be seen when you look up as people have decorated their houses for carnival.
