All ears

Our daughter and fiancee have been visiting this weekend - in part to go to the athletics in Glasgow yesterday.

So we have been dog sitting. They got back from Glasgow after an interesting drive and we had a good meal and chat. I offered to do the midnight walk so they retired.

Their dog was on alert on my knees and his trademark floppy ear called out to be photographed. Fortunately the wind and rain dies down for our walk.

After church and a shop I hunkered down in the house, vacuum packing clothes and blankets and sorting through papers. The pair left late afternoon and, after a very windy drive back, got home safely.

Now listening to the winds which seem even stronger than last week.
