Two Tides Meeting

Storm Dennis continues to blow gales, but a dry morning.  Showers started in the afternoon ,but didn't last long.  The dull grey skies cleared, and a sunny end to the day.  More gales tonight.

A lazy morning around the house, and then met up with friend Julie and Keba.  We took the dogs for a walk and wave watching in Burra, and then headed south to watch more waves.  Not much of a night, so a lazy evening by the fire, and the telly on.

I am getting bored of these gales, they seem endless this year so far, but they do give some interesting photos, when I get a chance to watch.  We arrived at St Ninians Isle, and the beach was covered by the sea.  As the waves rolled in from each side of the beach, they met and made this spectacular waves.  As the unusual wave rushed towards us, it looked like an underwater sea creature coming to attack.  I've never seen this before, and it was great to watch.  Taken at St Ninians Isle tombolo.
