On First Looking into Chapman's Homer, Michael Parekowhai.

Today was the day to meet up with Tracy and Dean who I had met in Vietnam, they are over from Australia visiting their friends in Christchurch. We were invited to an opening at the Art Gallery and I was rather taken by this bronze sculpture. It was bought for the city not long after the earthquake to bring inspiration and motivation in the face of such destruction.
Spent a great evening catching up with them, meeting new people, looking at art, eating tasty morsels and sampling some free wine.
