Hydrangea

A couple of months ago I picked one of the old hydrangea heads from the garden and brought it inside to photograph on a cold and rainy winter day with a macro lens. I stopped when I filled the memory card that had been in the camera for a while, but there's probably plenty more to explore on this another day.

Today was certainly wet and windy - as storm Dennis sweeps in. Though surprisingly mild.  After a morning trip to the supermarket I did grab a quick half hour walk around the block as the rain temporarily eased a little (so got damp rather than soaked)
