A Dolphin in the Sky!
I had physio this morning - it's almost 3 months since my surgery and there's still a long way to go, but Judit assures me I'm doing well! I then went to the supermarket to do the weekly shop, before driving over to Lewes to meet Vanessa for lunch at Bills. We had a lot to catch up on as I haven't seen her since November, and she was telling me that she's off working on a cruise ship again in 4 weeks time. I think I've mentioned before that Vanessa used to be a Moulin Rouge dancer (many years ago), and she's now a fitness instructor and has been getting jobs on the cruise ships which she loves. Anyway this time is amazing as she's joining a world cruise in Australia, and her daughter is in Australia for a year so she'll get to spend 3 days with her before she sets sail.
The weather today has been sunshine and showers, but as I was driving home from Lewes it really cleared up so I decided to go down to watch the murmuration. I'm so glad I did, it was the best display so far this season, and whilst I have lots of clear shots of them against the sky, I particularly love this one as it looks like they've formed a dolphin shape skimming the waves! I met up with Colette, one of my Skies buddies, and after the display we went to the pub where she bought me a drink before heading home. A great spur of the moment evening!
