Another fine morning (Day 1743)

There had been a very light dusting of snow overnight, and with temperatures below freezing, the road was fairly icy as I took the woofers for their morning wander up the hill. 
A bit later I trundled through to Stromness to get on with C&C's shower room. The plan was to get the tiles off and the shower and shower tray out. Taking the shower out was a bit of a pain as the valves on the tank in the loft weren't working properly. Cue guddling around in the tank to plug the outlets so that I could change all of the valves. The water was fairly cold. 
Once the shower was out, I discovered the tiles were fixed to plywood, which made them very easy to remove. There was little point in trying to get the shower tray out in one piece, so I smashed it up. 
Back home with time to unload smashed up tiles and shower tray out of the van before it was dark. Best bit of the day was a surprise visit from my beautiful wife.
