Gold and pink

3.6C wet and very windy. Winds over 30 mph all day with gusts in excess of 40.

Apothecary7 was off again today. Just the way the days off have been allocated. No long walks though. Combination of wind and rain/sleet most unpleasant.

We did go through to Broughty Ferry this afternoon for one or two things. An excuse to get out for while more than anything. Had coffee and goodies in Caffe Nero. Felt better.

I saw this house number painted on the sandstone at the door of a close as the wind and sleet blew us along in Broughty Ferry. Painted in gold, and outlined in pink, it stood out even on such a grey day. My colour shot was 'shoogly' so it had to be the B&W one !
