WOMAC

A very enjoyable and productive evening at this very decorative venue, the Freemasons Hall in London. We were there for the annual fund-raising party of WOMAC, Women On the Move Against Cancer, which supports a different cancer charity each year. This time it was Dimbleby Cancer Care, which gives very worthwhile practical support in various ways to people experiencing the trauma of cancer. We raised over £15,500 from this one event, so very well done everyone who attended.
I’m proud to have been involved in WOMAC throughout its 40 years in existence, during which time we have raised around £1 million in total for cancer charities. Not a bad result for the combined efforts of a bunch of women involved in the motor industry - with great support from our friends and colleagues both female and male!
