Up Up and Away
The last day is always sad. We have to have all our gear up on deck ready to be taken ashore. The crew have to make up our beds/bunks for the next group of passengers. The boat cruises from where we spent the night to where we met the helicopters. It was low mist and rain so not many pictures today. On the flight out I sat in the front next to the pilot. He flew high at 4000 ft to go over the rainy clouds. This view is coming down towards Lake Manapouri.
When we got to our accommodation in Te Anau the sun was out. We all kept looking at the blueness. The evening was spent sharing a lovely dinner at a restaurant.
