Not living up to its reputation...

Clachaig, a small village on the road between Glendaruel and Dunoon, is usually the coldest spot in the area.   When there is snow on the ground, this is where it falls first and thaws last.

But mid morning when I was driving through the temperature was the same as it was at home, and as it would be in Dunoon - a very chilly 2 degrees but with a wind chill that took it below freezing even before the effect of the frequent hail showers was factored in.
