After the Storm

Who remembers reading the stories of Percy the Park Keeper to their children ... or grandchildren?   My favourite was 'After the Storm' where all the animals need to find a new place to live after the great oak tree is blown over.  No trees down in Tywyn today but the winds were howling all night and the rain torrential this morning.  Lots of serious flooding in Wales, Spring Tides making things worse in some places.  We delayed our journey until tomorrow, just hoping that the roads are all open by then.   Also hoping that Ruth will get some resolution to severe pain that has seen her at the hospital today - a suspicion of  gallstones :-(

It's been much brighter although gales still blowing this afternoon.  This was the view from our sofa late on.
