A bad weather day

Storm Ciara arrived last night and dumped rather a lot of rain across the UK. With the high winds too, it was a thoroughly horrid day. I didn't venture out until this afternoon when the rain had stopped (temporarily).
There was a lot of water about and as a pedestrian, I had to jump out of the way of water thrown up by passing traffic several times.
There were some creatures who seemed to be enjoying the numerous newly formed lakes on the Stray - see today's extra.
