Rutland Water

Took the boys over to Rutland Water this morning, I love going there.  Met up with a friend for the boys to have some time out on their bikes, they haven't been out on them enough recently and I want them to be spending more time outside, on bikes and generally doing 'things'.  We did well - three hours of cycling, play park, picnic and inspecting the waters edge.  I think we all feel better for the fresh air, and by all accounts of behaviour and no messing around after lights out, it's done the trick for the boys! 

Took this down at the water front, can't work out if it's a dreadful picture or not - extra one of the eldest in the play park, I think it's time for a new hat! (one day, I'll learn to knit instead of relying on Granny...)

A quick stop in to see Granny in Stamford, then home and a quiet afternoon.

Bed time for me, anything and everything can wait, I'm so tired and think I just need sleep.
