Laura Busy Makkin

A windy day, and a day of showers.  It was fine inbetween the showers, with some good sunny spells. 

Another day working on the museum desk.  It was quiet first thing, but soon picked up.  There was a Wool Week volunteers meeting in the afternoon, with a good attendance.  A fairly lazy evening by the fire, some walkies with Sammy, and then off to work in the pub later. 

Nipped down the road at lunchtime, and popped by Laura for a sandwich and a cuppa.  Laura has been busy, she's started to knit herself a new jumper.  Mam looking over her shoulder, with a good bit more experience in knitting.  Maybe I'll get a new Fair Isle gansey next?  Here's hoping :)  Taken in the Blett road, Cunningsburgh.
