4.30pm Sunset

It's been a beautiful sunny day, well until my lunch break, when it clouded over and a shower, and then the sun came out again after lunch.  Clear skies tonight. 

I was up early, and an early start in the museum.  We had Historic Scotland in for an event, and also a school visit first thing too.  Starting early, I finished early.  I got a lot of chores out of the way this evening, and then walkies with Sammy.  Off to work in the pub later. 

Great to have the light returning to the days, and every day it gets that peerie bit lighter.  Today the sunset was about 4.30pm, and only getting dark about 5pm.  Although there was a bit of cloud at sunset, it made a fine looking strip of light across the horizon.  Looking over Scalloway, taken from the Scord.
