The Midland, Morecambe

Left home in the pouring rain, leaden skies, an hour and a half later we were walking along the promenade, sunshine and blue skies, admittedly, it was pretty windy, initially, but even that dropped as we walked and talked with our friends.

We have a lovely room overlooking Morecambe Bay with the Lake District in the distance.....looking lovely in the late afternoon sunshine.

Almost time to go and get ready for dinner now, looking forward to a nice evening with good friends, some nice food and wine hopefully, followed by a good nights sleep :-)

Forecast for tomorrow is good, so who knows where we might end up :-)
