Session today with primary heads & RE leads from NE Essex. We met at Birch School & while there I was shown a school art project, recreating artwork from waste, as part of their eco-project. The finished artwork will be HUGE ..... pictured is progress so far & an extra of what they are recreating. Recently, I’ve visited schools that have taken the decision to ditch pens in favour of pencils, reducing plastic waste, schools with real-time energy monitors, school growing projects & recycle projects. I'm finding children are often leading the way on creative, radical & brave ways of shaping their futures.
