Big birds

Yesterday was really very hot indeed and so l took to the water and went on an "albatross encounter". I was quite sceptic but delighted that l saw so many birds out from the Kaikoura coast, several different types of albatross, shearwaters, giant petrels and different gulls.
Also saw baby seals on the outer rocks, a blue shark, a huge pod of dolphins and a marlin.
