Warmly wrapped up for a chill winter day, here is my elder grandson enjoying a Sunday morning walk.
When he’s older he can look back at the significance of today’s date. It is a rare eight-digit palindrome, which reads the same, forward and backwards. It is the only one of its kind this century. The previous eight-digit palindrome was 909 years ago - 11/11/1111. The next will be 101 years ahead - 12/12/2121.
