Nothing happens here...

Roped and sheeted...

Spent a faffing and fiddling afternoon trying to apply detail to the recently built ERF lorry for Port Appin.  The pics show the application of ropes using superglue.  It has to be a fast drying glue, trouble is it is so fast it dries my fingers to the model too.  Aaaarrghhh!!!!

You may notice a drinking straw?  I use this to direct my 'blow' in a concentrated jet onto the superglued parts and it speeds up the drying from about 2 seconds to a quarter of the time.  You just have to remember not to suck.

These lorries (I built an Albion a couple of months ago) will be similar to the actual vehicles that worked on the Cruachan Dam above Loch Awe.  I have one more to build in the BRS red livery of the Argyll Division.  The cab is ready to clean up and spray - extra pic.

I came straight off social media pages today, they seem full of hysterical bile, fury and obscenities.  And that's just the modelling sites!  They should be renamed anti-social media.
