Balan, the goldsmith

We visited Balan and his family who live a little way along a track behind Beach House. We drank chai and chatted to his daughter while he worked sitting cross legged on his verandah. His wife gave a big welcome hug and I also had a lovely cuddle with his six week old granddaughter.
