Repeating Lines

I made use of another day with flat light to create this image emphasizing the pattern of lines formed by a few remaining reeds poking out of the snow covered lake.

My feeling is the photo still has enough variety to keep the eye moving. I think I prefer to show the details in the reeds and snow, holding onto reality, as opposed to a more graphical treatment that I could have gone for. Maybe that's just a choice for this image on this day.
